Nick's 4x4 Long travel build

I think im just gonna end up keepin this bitch, if i could do it again and get all money back i wouldve definitely gone with a first gen or older 4x4

im probably gonna let my truck sit for awhile, im gonna get a car probably an early 70's datsun most likely a 510 wagon or a 280z. My buddies dad does the Silvia turbo motor swaps in all those older japanese cars and they are just way to much fun, got to drive his 510 4 door a couple days ago and im kinda hooked.

 

probably not gonna sell, i would be pissed if i saw someone else in fullerton driving my truck lol.

 

twas more of a feeler, its definitely a stupid time to sell anything.

I know right! I went to the Big Japanese classic car show last year and saw some very nice ones.

 

this is kind of what im aiming for, this dude swapped a 2jz turbo in it though.

 

That's one clean wagon, The 510 are hard to find in decent shape and really expensive still. I was looking into building one yrs ago but too much $.

I freaking love you truck man! I would snatch it ip in a heartbeat since that's basically how I want to build mine! Would just need a buyer for mine first, lol!

 

i think im just gonna keep it for now, right now isnt the time to sell. i decided im just gonna stop building my truck for awhile and focus on a daily driver.

 

Well, you did a great job! How does the rear feel? Does the front keep up? I'm sooooo sick of this aal and billies back here....just not sure if sua will be worth it! I really like defines set up though!

 

The rear is a night n day difference, the front keeps up to an extent, not through TT whoops but through most things it handles nice

 

Got my DT Short headers installed, deeper tone, increased throttle response is noticeable and the it "feels" faster in the low-mid range RPM's, no dyno to confirm but i'm satisfied.

 

How did you like your Icon setup? I'm looking at getting the stage 4 kit...
