I haven't been to one since I was like 6! Maybe I should look into it. Especially in that historic stadium...

Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium (may be less interesting coming from Hi) Architectural boat tour, Millennium Park. North Ave. beach, Sears Tower or Hancock Building, Magnificent mile, Chinatown. Those are the main tourist spots. Go to Wrigley for a game if possible. Even if you don't like baseball its fun! Eat a hot dog and a beef somewhere. Get a good burrito. Ride the "L" at least once. As like most cities the neighborhoods have more flavor than downtown. Also Chicago is Mid-West not North East. Have Fun

I appreciate the suggestions...I plan on doing a few of those. Especially the food. I figured since its on the east half of the country and north of the country it'd be NE but thanks for correcting me

I’m actually moving to the suburbs of Chicago tomorrow, any good wheeling or camping around the area?

I haven't lived in Chicago in many years but I think there's some off road parks close by. As far as camping, you're probably gonna be driving to Wisconsin or possibly Indiana or Michigan.
