I've heard about that place, was basicly told not to go if I didn't have a beater so i've been leery to try it out.

Whoever says not to go to the cliffs doesnt really wheel. Wanna have fun? Go to the cliffs for sure.

If you just want to drive your mall crawler on a dirt road then dont go.

Some people just try to pose as long as possible...

Are the cliffs a higher skill level than attica?

Nope, about the same. Just muddier. Most of the people who hate on the cliffs have never even been there, just heard stuff, etc.

I like the cliffs, just not after a good rain.

the cliffs are great! took my old jeep there... I would not take anything in that you are not willing to scratch or get carnage... yes they have areas for the mall crawlers but its way more fun to let loose and go anywhere!

I hate the stigma that Barrington residents drive benz's and ferrari's... or when you look into the parking lot of BHS, all you see are high end luxury cars. For example, 90% of the students have had everything given to them... while the other 10 of us had to actually buy these things... my Taco cost me $9,000, my parents put in 10 grand... I still paid something at least!
Just bought another dirtbike too, KTM 125sx, $1,100.

I work for this stuff, other BHS students DON'T

I go to Barrington High, and there is one other Tacoma in the parking lot:)... wtf, why not 10?

    Hi guys,

Newbie from Chicago with a 07 TRD Sport Access Cab 4WD. Someone cut the cable and stole my spare tire a few weeks ago. Sux... I'm looking for a full size spare rim/tire, and possibly the spare tire carrier mechanism.

If you guys have one for sale or know of some junk yards around Chi, please drop me a note. I gotta get a replacement since I drive with my little son around, I'd hate to get caught out with a flat and no spare tire. Help?

    Thank you!
    Tom

I've got my full size spare on a TRD sport rim, never touched the pavement. I also have a spare tire mechanism I no longer need as well. PM sent.

Thanks to NwiTACO, I'm now with a spare again!!! :) Now I need to buy a chain and a all-weather lock to keep the thieves from stealing it again.

If you go to the Cliffs you WILL leave with body damage. Some people go there with stock FJ's and Jeeps, but the are short enough to maneuver out there, and they are borderline crazy for doing it. Its more for someone that has a beater and doesn't mind getting into the body.

I used to go there all the time with my built Bronco II and had a blast.
