I would like to go to just check it out.

I heard the trails are tighter more for Jeeps than anything. Maybe someone who has been there personally can chime in.

I was driving next to a 2012+ Black Access Cab manual this morning. I looked over a couple of times to try and wave but the guy was always looking straight ahead. I tried to have a little fun with him but it was raining too hard to let the supercharger loose.

As far as the cliffs go, it is pretty tight in there. Made for Jeeps or quads. Our trucks would get beat to hell br by tree branches.

Mike, thats funny, how'd the pullies work out? Notice a difference?

Look at my build thread and look at a pic of the pax side of my truck, 90% of that cab damage was done by one tree root on trail 10. The trails at the cliffs are either way too easy or extreme, there's no in between. I hate that park with a passion and I have zero fear of body damage. Plus I have broke each time I went and its muddy as hell. Make the drive to the badlands, much more forgiving if you want a variety of trails and care about what your truck looks like.

    Ha! Quite a story, there!

Well as I mentioned, the local dealer has a pretty reputable service dept. I can vouch only for St. Charles' sales staff.

You did kind of bring that on yourself buying ATF at the dealer. You paid that 75% markup on the parts store grade fluid for that awesome knowledge and service....

Need some new tires, any suggestions? Thinking about Cooper ST Maxx. Dont know if its the correct tire to go, but heard a lot of great reviews and longevity.

I have had numerous sets of Duratracs and sell 100's more. Not had one set live less than 50k miles... Great tire for that 95% street driver but still demands good off road performance... (ohh and they slay snow like santa on Christmas eve)

Lol, yeah I was gonna say I thought I heard some guys even up to 60k on a set. I have approximately 11k on mine now and the they still look new and beefy. I don't see them diminishing in 20k-25k when I reach that 35k mark to the point that I'll need a new set. I also rotate them often which helps. And yes, they are awesome in the snow and rain.

Jeebus. I take it the ones that bring their new rides there just go for the easy trails then. Sucks that badlands is literally the only place

Oh there's plenty of options, you just have to be willing to drive.

Ask slander...Harlan, KY is the bomb. And lets not forget Tracy City TN :D

I just spent 2 days wheeling in Harlan and we didnt even see 1/2 the park. WELL WORTH the drive!!! Seriously! Hell I've been down there 6 times and i haven't even seen the entire park yet. Plus they are doubling the size of the place this summer (i think it will be right around 4000 achers). There are a ton of parks within a days drive south, but that's the key you have to drive!

Tracy city is pretty cool, but I would be nervous going there without a local, NWI can back me up on this, you are in the backwoods for sure!!
There are some parks in Michigan i want to check out as well, rocks and valleys and drummond island again.

We took the ginger and some more guys from the crew over on mud down there and I think they are now hooked on the park. I have officially dragged every ounce of performance out of an open front end taco on 33s and am planning on a chop session this winter. Picking up an fj62axle this weekend. :D After seeing Connors truck on 37s it solidified that idea!

I figure after 9+ yrs of Wheeling on 33s its time to step up to some real tires and axles...

My work has been a little insane lately and I haven't done it. With the weather warming up, I am getting the itch. I will post pictures when I get it done.
