Washed, clay bar, 3 coats of Zaino wax. Turned out awesome!!!!

 

Nice.....never done the clay bar thing. I want to give it a shot sometime this summer.

Yeah...you should've!! Keep this in mind, after my Monday shift I'll be off the next 2 and starting Tuesday I'll have the house to myself for a week. I was thinking of maybe having some Toyota guys swing by.

Coming home from work this morning, I saw a guy cruising down Rt. 30 in a nicely built up silver Tacoma. He waived as he passed....never seen him before. I always figured there would be more modded tacomas around here.

 

I see a quite a few modded ones in my area. Always on Ogden Avenue.

 

I think he lives on Rt 126 where I spoke above earlier. West of Meadow South side. He always has stuff for sale in front.

 

Hey Mikey, Do you have everything up and running with your truck?? The last thing I remember you were doing the header install. Did you install an aftermarket y-pipe too?

 

I have not, and you aren't going to like the reason why. I am thinking about parting out and trading in the Tacoma.

I have had a chance to move up in my company and I have been traveling locally a lot more and taking coworkers and vendors out and the truck isn't exactly the smoothest ride. I have looked at some SUVs, but there is nothing out there that I am taking a liking to at the moment.

There isn't anything I can find that has both the speed and the reliability of the Tacoma. But I am holding off on any upgrades until I figure out what the plan is.

No, the ride would be similar with the full body on frame design. I did drive a Highlander, but I was crying inside during the test drive because of how slow and boring it was. The Highlander was really nice on the inside though.

 

trust me the 4runner feels a lot different than the Tacoma...try one

Spotted a silver Tacoma on 55 north right before 80 lifted topper tires and a rear bumper, may have been the same one I saw in coal city the other day with a ARB front

 

The one I saw I don't think it had a arb bumper but it was definitely lifted and modded.....I actually thought it was you Mr. Doom.
