    It looks like chi-town 4x4 will be hosting a meet and greet on November 1st at 3:30. Itl be at Rockbottom brewery at the Yorktown Mall. Looks like a bunch of people are going. Should be some cool trucks up there....FJ's, Tacomas, Tundras, and probably some other models. Let's get a strong Tacoma turnout!!! :thumbsup:

For the next 24 hours. Till 7:42 Monday night I will sell the white ones for 5 dollars just because I have a few and they aren't as popular

    Hey all - I'm looking for a recommendation for a good gear shop in/around Chicago - I'm in Jefferson Park (Edens/Kennedy split). Specifically looking for someone to install a LSD into my open diff'd Prerunner before winter. I haven't decided on the TRD Kazuma part or the Truetrac, but either way, pumpkin work is out of my range of shadetree expertise. Maybe I'm showing my age now, but seems when I was a kid putting together old street cars, gear shops were easy to find. Not so much anymore. I'm not going to Toyota shops for various reasons, and all the trans shops I've called either don't know what I'm talking about or give me insane quotes.

    Any local leads would be greatly appreciated!

    Well depends on how far you're willing to go. Joe Krelle owns chic-town 4x4. You're near where I am and it's about 40 min west. Can always call and ask if he can do it or knows someone. Joe knows a lot of places or can at least point you in the right direction
