I'm going to have a Bak Flip for sale here soon, cheap as it is pretty beat up. Dents from hail and a golf ball.

Whatever you do, GET windoors..I'm sure chandler can tell you I'm right

I would look at ARE too..some reviews of SnugTop are good and some are bad...I would steer clear altogether.

Wouldn't the rule be more seals around windows more leaks? What's the benefit? I don't like to grab stuff from the side of my truck now in fear of scratching it, yes I'm anal about my girl. I love the cap though, awesome color.

Is there any issues with the rear seals and window leaking? Saw some reviews on u tube and I didn't care for the way the seals were. Also did you get the lock with remote feature?

You might not now..but in the future, you will. And after pets and labor, I'm pretty sure it's about $5-$600 to add the windoors.

No issues with seals or leaking at all.

Pro Taco FWIW I've known guys that had windoors and over time they all ended up with scratches on the bedsides, (to be honest they are in the const. industry) so you can judge what you want, but just throwing it out there, if you want to check out ARE caps you can go to www.ultimate-truck.com and "build" the cap you want and they will send you a quote.
From past searches, ARE is just as good as Leer but a little cheaper.

Ultimate is on the south side of Milwaukee, which is the closest dealer for me if I need parts, (which has only happened once in ten years) there might be a closer dealer for you. just sayin

when did they came up with that law - I drove my B plate all over LSD and never had an issue, now I have GA plates and so it doesn't matter anyway

I thought B plates were essentially unlimited and "truck" restrictions didn't apply.

Can I drive it on Lake Shore Drive? No. You cannot drive any vehicle designed to carry freight or other commercial goods on Lake Shore Drive--or on any thoroughfare designated as a boulevard-- even if you are not using the vehicle for that purpose. If you are coming to Chicago on I-55 to attend a game at Soldier Field, you may drive a truck on Lake Shore Drive from I-55 to the Soldier Field parking lot."

You can go from i-55 to soldier field and back!

I don't GA plates will exempt you by the chicago polices definition.

The law has been around ever since i can remember (90s)

Hey Sparkystaco, thanks for the link. Howeber I did click on it and it disnt work. I will google them later and see if it works. I just got a quote from Tinley Park dealership and it was 2400. Only feature I got was auto lock with key fob. Thule rack was way to expensive.

Pro Taco, sorry about that when I typed it the search bar last nite it worked for me, don't know why the link doesn't work.
As far as options, the only one I would insist on is the front folding window so you can clean the glass between the cap & cab.

Whoops! The guy quit responding to me...he said another buyer was ready for a cheaper price and didn't seem to want to wait a day until I got my truck back from the dealer to confirm there is no way to warranty it.

Sorry guys. Thought I got in contact with everyone that was willing to help.

    I appreciate the offers!

I used Tri-County Truck Tops in Oak Forest for my snugtop. No problems.
