    I attempted but no go. Didnt have tir rod seperator, 32mm socket not 35. Getting right tools this week and doing it Saturday.

    Just buy one of those tre seperator tools, i find my self using it for all kinds of stuff.

    Also known as a pickle fork, but be careful as they like to destroy the rubber boots. There are other ways to separate them.

    My bad, I have never seen or even thought about using a pitman arm puller for tre's.
    We have always used a pickle fork or the two hammer method.

    Means loosing the castled nut almost off and putting a hammer on one side of the "eye" and hitting the other side with second hammer, you don't have to hit it out of the park, just a good smart rap, if done right the shaft will drop out of the eye.
