I was Winnebago raised, so you and I may either know each-other or a lot of the same people.

@twotone77 sounds like the TWAT may be up your alley, and if it is, let me know cause I'd like to do it next year or this fall.

Can anyone recommend a good dealer in the Chicagoland area? I live on the north side of the city. Looking to purchase a 2018 4x4 Double Cab Shortbed SR5 or Sport

Oh that's not too bad. Be a good camp trip. Sounds fun! I'll prepare for that for next year.

I’d stay away from Naperville for sure. Elgin and Joliet weren’t too bad.

Looks like its gonna be about 70 for radio (33) 4' firefly antenna(20) and a 12ft coax cable. Gonna make my own brackets at work real quick for a temporary setup.
So as long as I dont attempt any rockcrawling or water above bottom of door I think I'll have a great time!

Well I'm putting the CB radio in this weekend and hoping to figure all that out on my own, I watched some vids on how to tune.
Also I am down to camp Saturday night if that's what others are doing.
Is this thread were the conversations will be about the badlands trip on the 11th, or is there one specifically for it?

Try Contagious Customs in Crystal Lake. Ask For Chris he is the owner, there a pretty hardcore off road shop that should be able to help.

Then you pay for buying a car in Indiana tax then you pay the Illinois tax when you license it.

While I am not sure, I don't believe that is the case. I know a couple Indiana guys that bought cars in Illinois. When they licensed them in Indiana they were credited the tax that they pais in Illinois.

Damn! Yeah, I will just add that to the list of reasons I hate Illinois...it's a very long list.
