Checking that out now. We usually like getting a car so we can take a trip out shopping and stuff and drive around. But sometimes it does make more sense staying DT. Thanks for the option that looks well priced

Stay Downtown and walk everywhere, having a car is a nightmare down there. Have fun eating and drinking your way through the city!

Go here Rossis bar. Looks like a shitty convenience/liquor store, but a totally awesome dive bar right down town, in a really nice area actually.

Ha, I stand corrected. These would look sharp as hell. Well, if you are interested, they are a year old. I paid just under a grand for them. I can let them go for $800 including lug nuts. Also, if for some reason you wanted to get rid of them........you’d have zero problem selling them as they are always highly sought after.

If your really interested, I gotta ask so i know, ......how long are you figuring? I can order my wheels whenever. If I know you want them I’ll hang on to them and not post them. If I do post them, I’m relatively certain they will sell pretty quick.

Oh don’t hold them just for me! They’re fixing some things at the body shop that was missed before. Might be a week or 2 before I can even get to work on it again.

Finally snagged a chance to fluid film real quick even though we had a brief salt/snow day last week. Curious what your guys thoughts are to undercarriage washing with fluid film throughout the winter. I was thinking just every few weeks or after a salt/snow hitting the undercarriage at the quarter car wash with the none high pressure setting, or just being lazy and running it through the auto car wash (brushless) with undercarriage spray. Hopefully my first winter back home will be uneventful. I definately miss AZ in this aspect, don't miss the constant rock chips though.

I just run my truck through the auto wash in the winter after FF. Seems to be working fine. Ain't nobody got time to wash their truck outside when its freezing out.

I'd take AZ rock chips over midwest rust any day, all day lol.

Lol, dude its baddddd. My last truck within 2 months had chips all over the front, in the glass, down the rocker panels. Give or take, guess I need to move to the SE once I graduate school.

    And thanks.

At least there is still metal and paint to chip. Can't paint chip your rockers here if they don't exist any more.

I acquired some winter DD beaters and use those and park the truck. Fixing rust holes gets old.

Just go to the automatic wash with the undercarriage spray when you can in the winter. Any days when the temp is over 30 I usually try to make it there. I always undercoat with eastwood rust encapsulator in the fall. Keeps the frame shiny black and rust free.
