Shocked there is a Chicago sub. We plan to stop in Chicago to visit my parents on a road trip from Nevada. How safe is it leaving a packed rig on the streets (wrigley area). Truck definitely stands out with a camper / lift / wheels etc. Any secured garages you guys recommend?

Normally I would say its fine, but given the current environment / situation, I wouldn't. And finding parking will be a b*tch.

Sweet, hopefully it wont be too much of a bear the 12 months I'm there. So sick of (excluding the many I've met here) the sh*ty people at tend to make up this area, people are just ridiculous here. Remembered why I was glad I left in the first place.

Really? People are actually pretty nice here. Go visit that cesspool NJ around NY or LA or San Francisco, bunch of assholes in all those places compared to illinois/chicago.

Lived in NJ for 5 years, yes they are worse, but compared to when I lived in TX, MS and AZ, IL has its fair share of slimey, self centered aholes.

Ahh SW burbs, makes sense now. They seem to think they live in Beverly hills or some shit from what I noticed.
