Never had an issue. With the exception of the welding work, I've done all my own installs:

Assuming when your ready for sure. I may be able to squeeze that one in. It’s only the front of the engine that’s coming apart

You’ll be fine warranty wise. Do the lift yourself, have the dealer do the calibration of the sensor. Installing the grille and sensor is trivial.

Yup. My blower needs to come off and valve covers. I have all the gaskets needed. I’ll do the plugs and new RIPP ignition coils while those are off too.

Couple day project by the sounds of it. I had to do the timing chain tensioners on a supercharged 5.7 a few months back.

soo much easier since the blower could stay on

I’ve been told it’s like a 5 hr job. It’s only the manifold of the blower that comes off….edit, and valve covers

Ahh the timing cover doesn’t need to come off. Yea that makes it way easier

I’ve just gotten use to doing timing cover reseals on the 4.0s

    NickJacq23,

Did you have a successful Chicago event? Hope so. On the first post of the KDMAX Performance Tune thread, you are listed as a tuner for TN & KY. Does that mean you traveled thru Indianapolis to get to the Chicago event? Only been on this forum for a couple of months but have not seen any posts that an Indiana event has ever happened. Have you or the other Midwest tuners investigated interest? At some point I will find opportunity to meet up with a tuner in another state if someone doesn't come here first. Until then I am getting by with much better acceleration but the same old gear searching by using a sprint boost.

I actually head there in a couple weeks. I don't travel through Indianapolis, I go through the entire state of IL. I personally don't think many people have explored the area as far as interest but it may happen in the future. I suggest checking out the Chicago event if you have time.
