Well, putting it out there. As of now the TRD lift kit I have is still available.

also, if for any reason someone is wanting to SAS a 3rd gen taco, I have a frame with front crossmember damage.
    2021 v6 access cab frame

I’ll be hanging in to it at my uncle farm.. why? I don’t know. Insurance paid for a new frame because control arm mounts are bent. The JD fab setup would fix that easy. I can’t bring myself to scrap an 6k mile frame

Thats awesome! Sorry about not hitting you up, I totally forgot in all the craziness of getting ready to move. How are you liking the 265/75?

Haven’t installed yet. They came with brand new factory TPMS sensors so I’m going to wait until I get my lift on and install after I get an alignment. I bought an extra tire to upgrade my spare which I’ll have mounted. I might see if the dealer will install my new wheels & tires and program the new TPMS sensors at my final Toyota care appointment instead of rotating my tires. Shouldn’t be an issue but I’ll wait until then to ask about it. Decent deal though new Kenda klevers on the anthracite rims with TPMS for $900. The guy had a nice new truck that he put these on for like 25 miles but ended up dropping the cash for new aftermarket rims and TKOs in factory size. He told me he had a slight mudflap rub with these but he had 1.25 spider tracks spacers and that probably pushed them out far enough to rub. Guy had a sharp new truck though and a nice heated garage :p

btw, got the KDMAX tune last Sunday. Big improvement over stock and the truck didn’t bother me that much before. No more dead spots and smooth response with more get up and go from the start.

Unfortunately, there is nobody local for the tune. @NickJacq23 is the person who tuned mine and comes around here somewhat regularly. There is a list of coverage area in the KDmax tune thread. Could always do it yourself too, but that costs a little more. I don't have any desire to mess with changing tunes etc. The KDMax Pro Normal throttle is all I'll need so saved money having it done.

You will like it. I was on the fence and was somewhat skeptical of the reviews. Its not going to turn the truck's V6 into a V8, but its a big improvement.

Hell ya that sounds like an awesome deal. You saved a ton by grabbing something slightly used. If I could go back in time I would probably do what you did. You are making a very good case for the KDMAX tune.....I am going to have to do some more research on this. Glad you are happy! I got some rub that is on my mud flaps I think. As soon as winter is over those bad boys are coming off I think or getting trimmed somehow. Im taking off my steps too when it gets warm out. Hopefully get some money back and no more rub on the back of the leg getting in and out!

Cheers man! Nice to hear from ya!

Man do you have any other suggestions. I submitted a request through the website in December, Rick from Chitown 4x4 emailed me once in January and let me know I’m in the queue and he’d get back to me in a week or so, but haven’t heard back since. Sent a couple follow-up emails, have tried calling many times goes to voicemail that’s full and can’t leave a message. Kind of strange and seems somewhat sketchy. What happens if there’s an issue with install if you can’t get a response or even leave a voicemail? Their reviews are good but damn, would be nice to at least get an idea if they can do it and how much it would cost. Have a garage full of parts waiting but too cold to do it myself outside. Got a $1,100 quote from 4Wheel parts in naperville. The guy I talked to Steve was the shop foreman and seemed knowledgeable. He worked as a tech at Toyota elmhurst. I know 4 wheel parts can be hit or miss, but that all depends on the people doing the wrenching. I’d rather do myself, possibly with assistance for the clamshell and UCAs possibly as it’s my DDand don’t want to be out of commission if something goes sideways.

I’m sorry you’ve had a tough time. Rick is always busy wrenching on someones truck, that’s why he rarely picks up. He usually returns calls and emails towards the end of the day before wrapping up. If you were to physically stop in you’d most likely see him working on a truck. He’s told me before that because he doesn’t have time to be on the phone during the day, it all suffers. Unfortunately it’s pretty much a one man operation. Joe the owner sometimes can be reached but he runs the family company too. They are the only one that I trust with my truck.

I guess I’ll keep trying. There’s no option to leave a message since the voicemail has been full since December. I’d really like them to do the work, but need to get some kind of timeline. Any idea what the labor rate is? I’m guessing it would be 6-7 hours of work. Coilovers, UCAs, ECGS bushing, shocks and leaf packs in back.
