    whut? is something hitting them?

tie rods are 115 per set from toyota... you think they are worth $for the potential extra strength over the rock auto ones?

No bc I dont think they are any stronger. Beck Arnley 101-5517 is the inner/rod and 101-5484 is the outer end.

And yeah...the inner joint in hitting them...lol. Gonna put on my limit strap which are sitting on the shelf.

Eric make sure u compare axles when or getting new ones.. I asked a friend what her knew about that 9inch and he said there are several different splines options depending on what year and where it came from. So just be certain your getting the right thing

Yeah, I measured my axles and did some research on it. Found some good shit and some good math calcs to figure it out.

I am pretty sure I have 31.84" axle shafts, both the same... 31 spline for sure ( counted) Also superior axle and gear told me 32" shafts, but I am going to pull the broken piece of and get it back together for a correct measurement.

    Thanks!

That's why we edit videos, but Nick didn't have time. Oh and when people speak to you, you usually speak back.

From you're kid or what? Or fretting about those damn bent axles... At least they were installed properly unlike my rear axle shafts

Oh, about the rear shafts, incase anyone wants to care (which is no one) But, in this photo here, you can see the backing plate is installed on the wrong side of the bearing. Thus making 3/4" less contact on the splines of my axles, thus most likely causing the twisting of my splines, thus causing the break.

Correct mounting (picture from el goog)

This is how it's suppose to come off, the backing plate should stay on the axle.. and of course mine didn't.. sigh

Next potential project (after reworking the first gen turd:D) for my wifey, going to look at it this weekend. Plans would be partial resto to mall crawler status, with a nice interior for a family SUV. But yet still fully caged with fr/rr lockers and a SA.
