    Hey, everybody.

I'm in Weaverville and set to take possession of a GFC Camper within the month. It's time to invest in some suspension upgrades, but I lack the time and expertise to do the work myself. Are there any reputable shops in the Redding area that specialize in this? Thanks.

Totally Trucks is a well known place, but I've never used them. My advice would be to do some research on exactly what suspension upgrades you want to do, and buy them. Then have a shop install it for you. You can PM me if you have any questions you need answers for.

I’ve heard good things about Flex Point Offroad in north Redding - a buddy just had them do his re-gear and said they were great. They build roll cages and buggy’s and all sorts of gnarly stuff so I’m sure they could do it.

I'm pretty busy with work this time of year so I don't know if I'll make it out there or not, but if you want some easy fire roads to drive there's some out in Platina and French Gulch. I drive them when deer season comes around. That's really all I know of as far as public land goes other than the Chappie Shasta OHV park. I'd like to find some more though!

Hey Colin, did you ever get this sorted out? I had Jeff at Redding Wheel and Brake install mine due to a lack of work space and he did a great job. He got me the bilstein 5100 struts and matching shocks out back to go with the add-a-leafs I found on craigslist. My only regret was not getting a little beefire front springs at the same time

Are they down on Hartnell? I had Point S do my alignment post-lift since I’m in Palo Cedro and I think I need more caster.. haven’t found a really good alignment shop and don’t wanna try PS again since they just got me back to stock settings it looked like. Still getting occasional on-road rub after CMC with 34s which gets worse/more frequent off road

I decided to go with Flex Point. I ordered back in June; the leaf springs and one set of shocks ( I forget if it was front or rear) arrived within a week or two, but we’re STILL waiting on the other set of shocks. They were supposed to arrive this past week, but I didn’t get a call. Ross, the owner, offered to install the parts that had arrived earlier in the summer, but I wanted it all installed at once so I would only need to get one alignment job afterwards. I’m a little nervous as I put down a bunch of cash up front, and I’ve never done business with them before, but he’s been in business over 5 years, has generally good Google reviews, and seems like a stand-up guy when I talk to him on the phone.

I haven't myself, but I think my brother used Platinum Auto Glass. They also have the best reviews on Google for the shops in our area.

Platinum Auto Glass is legit. They've done some glass work for me on some other cars and they've always done a great job.
