Child seat restraint bar removal?

Hey everybody, had a quick question. I've seen a few photos of people removing these child restraint bars off of the back wall behind the seats of a double cab. I want to remove mine as well, need the room for a subwoofer.

I tried searching around on how people removed these, but I could only find pictures of after it was done.

What's the best way to remove these? I thought they use some kind of body adhesive first, but at a closer look I can see all the spot welds. Anybody who's removed one these wanna chime in?

 

Abrasive cut off wheel and just cut the loop off. If you grind the spot welds off theres a good chance you'll burn the paint.
