Its funny how no matter the vehicle, this comment is always the "go to".
As if anyone would expect to get Prius mpg out of any truck.
    Obviously, its not a Prius.

I NEED a truck...not a Prius. But that doesnt mean I cant be conscious of the mpgs I get and try to maximize them. This is my daily driver and Im happy with the 21 mpgs I regularly get IN STOCK FORM. Thats nowhere close to a fricking Prius, but its great for a truck.

Fwiw, I dont know if the spoiler does anything or not, and I dont care. I leave it on cuz I think it looks better on a stock sport.

How is a gif making any political statement? Yet we can make posts about stupid shit the government is doing with EV’s, banning gas vehicles, the insanity in California and other states, vehicle shutdown systems passed in the infrastructure bill, CARB, CAFE, and other senseless legislation.
That right there should get me banned for how long…

I bought and installed a chin spoiler on my 22 Off-road
I used to get 19 to 21 miles per gallon driving to work and back
With my driving style, and a 33 Mile long flat stretch of highway to and from work.I can honestly tell people my truck gets about 1 1/2 to 2 miles more per gallon!

2mpg for the chin strap alone on a 3rd gen Tacoma?! Do you live a few thousand feet below sea level where air is more dense?

My experiences are less than a .5 mpg difference.. in the range of margin of error with my test methods of the same 160 mile stretch of interstate.

I live in East Tennessee...try to keep it at 50 to 55 mph!
I don't always get the extra mpg..I get a heavy foot from time to time.

The only spoiler I’m willing to put on my truck is about speed and downforce:62E11AC8-AC5F-49F4-9986-76DB9037F7E1.jpg

    Nothing major yet.
I feel like I can get a 1 1/2 to 2 mpg difference just depending on the weather and my eagerness. A lot of factors could be in play. I don’t think the chin spoiler will make that much of a difference. I live in a somewhat similar terrain since I’m also in East TN, so I’d imagine it’s a similar case.
