Chipper/Shredder Thread

I am in the market for middle upper end chipper shredder.

What to look out for? What to get? What to avoid?

Want gas, how many horse and what engine mfr?

Plus open discussion on the subject welcome.

I bought a Troybilt with an eleven hp motor. It was loud , dusty and didn’t work very well. There were some small branches it would chip, but most things, jammed or shredded and wrapped around the blade.

I finally gave up on it and now just chip them up with an old Snapper rear engine by just running them over until the are gone.
