    Soo my question is..

If I have a TRD Cold Air Intake as well as the FlowMaster Dual Cat-Back exhaust on my 4.0L Engine; which chip/programmer would best fit my needs for improved fuel economy, torque, and horsepower?

Im worried about Voiding the factory warranty so of course I will place an anonymous phone call to Toyota HQ before I throw anything into the truck..

Now Ive never chipped or programmed any of my vehicles before so Im hesitant to do it in the first place but Im really interested in the improved performance I keep hearing about from these little things. My main questions would be:

    1) Will it affect my warranty?
    2) Can I reset my engine back to factory settings with the device?
    3) What kind of improvements can I expect from "chipping" it?
    4) Is it legal.. Illegal?
    5) What are the Pros Vs Cons of something like this?
    6) Annnd Which ones would you recommend? ;)

Really im just looking to get as much information as I can get about reprogramming a vehicle before i decide to do it to my truck.. So feel free to take me to school on it :D

Can effect warranty, if they want to try and blame an engine related problem on it. You can usually reset to factory specs. Perfectly legal.

What chips and programmers are offered for our trucks? To my knowledge there is nothing out there except uni-chip.. I might be totally wrong.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
Tell the programmers you live in California.
I wouldn't expect much return on investment.
    Aspros don't get much help.

Uni-Chip is junk with shitty customer service. Go with URD...about the only programmer/computer/chips that are made with our trucks specifically in mind.
