I have a 2018 Tacoma sport with 27k miles original belts. I just need some help where the noise is coming from. Could it been the serpentine belt that’s making the chirping sound when I apply gas? When it idles there’s no chirping. Is it possible to just shoot some kind of lube or just replace the belt. Also my truck hasn’t been used very much in the past 3 months.

There’s belt dressing you can apply. But belts aren’t that expensive and pretty dang easy to install. I just replaced mine again at 80k miles (first time around 35k) along with an idler pulley.

Get a spray bottle (water) and squirt the belt a little bit and then give it some gas…see if it stops chirping. It’s probably the belt

Yep. Probably just needs to be tightened up a bit.

There was a TSB for belt chirp. Mine was changed via warranty @ ~30K IIRC to a V-rib pattern belt and went away.
