Chirping noise while idling?

    Hey I’m new to the Tacoma world, I just got my 2005 prerunner about a month ago! About a couple weeks ago I noticed a chirping noise while idling, it’s not from the engine but it’s comig from under neath the truck. Can anyone help??

    Some people have said they had the fuel pump replaced and that solved that.

    Mines a 6 speed manual. Do you think it could be a U-joint? Sometimes it makes a clunk when shifting

    Welds and Cuts and stuff
    A clunk or ping from the DS when shifting could indicate worn out U-Joints. If the U-Joints are original I'd put them in the general maint list that needs to be done. IF the chirp your talking about is while sitting at idle it's not the DS. Can you climb under and isolate where the sound is coming from?

    Yeah it’s coming from the front. It goes away when I put the clutch in

    I would bet my bottom dollar it's the throw out bearing... your fortunate it lasted this long without making a ruckus. Mine started at like 30k lol.
