Chopped exhaust, have a question.

    I had a Magnaflow muffler welded in today, and had the guy chop my exhaust off right behind the rear axle. He cut it with a torch, so it doesn't look too clean, but that's not a big issue, can be cleaned up. However, I'm wondering if he cut it too high and if there's gonna be too much heat on the spare. Here's a few pictures:

    I drove around a while, got out and felt the spare, didn't feel like it was really getting any heat on it. Wondering if it will affect it more on the highway. Opinions?

    My magnaflow looks and is cut off in basically the same spot. no issues so far.

    X2 mine has been cut like that for almost 2 years with no issues.
