i would love to do this to my xrunner with my aeroturbine. i wonder how it would sound. anyone with an aeroturbine 2525 dumped the exhaust after the bend? id also have to get the factory body kit piece patched up

nice... i did mine kinda the same. i had a flowmaster 40 with a turndown put on but i moved it forward so that you couldnt see it from inside the rear passenger side fender-well. then i painted it flat black so that people behind me couldnt see that good...

works really nice and the 40s has a deep sound but not loud. great for a v6 taco. not a 6 cyl sound.

Did this to my magnaflow a year ago. Haven't had any issues with the spare, or with fumes entering the cab. If you chop it after the axle, the tailpipe is still 3' or so behind the cab.

I've been wanting to paint mine also. I have all types of red clay/mud on it so I would need to take it off and clean the hell out of it first. Looks great!

mine looks just like this sept on a first gen! Good job, and for another cuttoff possibility, I used a angle grinder with a cut-off wheel.

I killed the my stock starter chugging through deep mud and muck... How do you make your truck water tight? I've seen a diff breather re locate... but Starter, alternator, and intake are all still pretty vulnerable. I dont have a snorkel. I think I'll keep mine closer to land next time.
