Choyota's 2018 MGM LT+2 TRD *Locked* Sport 4x4 Build

2018 TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 (MGM): Yes, it's a Sport - initially I wanted to buy a truck for some light camping and to haul some stuff around on occasion. Then I discovered the online world for Tacomas and.....yeah.

Nice build. Which Eaton did you buy for the rear? It looks like they have 8" but defintely not one for the 8.75" rear for us MT owners.

How do you feel about the locked smoothies vs Fox or King?

 

I have a very unambitious "build", unfortunately.

 

I thought about King and Fox, both. Then after talking to some people, and my brief experiences interacting with Riley over at Locked, I felt like this was the move. Some folks confirmed the customer service was top-notch. Some of the material used seem top-notch as well. We'll see once they're on. Another bonus was that it was very affordable with that 25% Black Friday sale.

 

I got it thru ECGS. It was known as a "Harrop" at the time. I'll have to dig thru my emails but it was an available option for my setup (I have a 8").
