You should file a complaint. Go to the closest CHP Station explain your truck is illegally modified and demand your citations. I wouldn't stand for some cop not doing his job and failing to cite you. That's what he gets paid to do, who does he think he is that's dereliction of duty!

Getting talked to like a 12 year old was free, tickets would have been expensive. Certainly you can see why he might have talked to you like that I hope?

If I can make and analogy. Say your job was to keep the bathroom clean at Mcdonalds but every now and then there is this dude that comes in shits on the floor pisses in the sink and throws wadded up wet TP on the ceiling. You would be pretty upset right?

You might even want to say something to this guy because there is really no excuse for doing that when you know its wrong. Yet that guy is thinking, whats the big deal its not even his bathroom.

Actually, yes, if he started off with a bad attitude i would have given it right back to him, this isn't my first rodeo son, i've been around a long time, dealt with many cops, most are fine, some are bad. Well being that im 55 and he was prolly maybe 30, i didnt need a lecture on my truck, i didnt give any attitude so dont give me any. and if your going to talk to me dont be staring at my friend like some stalker through the window when were both standing outside..

BHLM, eyelids and drop illegal? What is the cop on about. I can see the tinted tails but the eyelids, drop and BHLM have no correlation to any safety violation.... I think

You can change a cops attitude real quick by asking for a badge number. Legally they have to give it to you. But with no ticket I would say fuck that guy and go about your business. No harm done.
