But it sounds like the sound is coming from the foot well. Isn't the fuel pump somewhere in the back of the truck inside the gas tank maybe? It sounds like a quick "ptssssshhhh" sound. Like oil is squirting or steam releasing under pressure or like pressing a can of pressurized fluid.

I just got my 2023 Tacoma TRD OF a couple months ago and think have the exactly same problem here. Do you have any updates on this? So far, it drives normal and nothing bad happen. Just worry it could get worse in long term. Thanks.
