Chris Kyle Murdered...

Don't know how many of you are active in the long range rifle world but I thought I'd pass this along.

Chris Kyle and another man Murdered at Rough Creek Lodge.

WTF is going on... John Noveske, Keith Ratcliff(FPSRussia's manager), and Now Chris Kyle, shit isn't right.

Never heard of the guy personally but RIP to one of our countries heroes. Sounds like a fucked up situation. Another soldier in custody for the murders?!

Chris Kyle, aka "the devil of Ramadi", was the author of American Sniper and the most decorated American sniper to date. Over 150 confirmed kills and numerous unconfirmed. What several news agencies reported is that Chris spent time with former active duty members diagnosed with PTSD. A 25 year old former Marine and Iraqi war veteran Eddie Ray Routh was the shooter. He killed Kyle and his neighbor at point blank range and left in Kyle's personal truck and was later apprehended.

RIP to a true American hero who served his country with distinction and honor.

Just learned that the name of the other victim is Chad Littlefield, also a vet.

A friend of mine was at the shot show with chris just two weeks ago.

 

One thing that is disconcerting right now is the chaff in the air about Routh and PTSD. Allot of people are talking out of their hats in the news right now about PTSD and it frustrates me to no end to see so much misinformation being spread about by these cake-eaters. No one knows if PTSD even had anything to do with this crime and people who are classified as suffering from PTSD are not all lopsided kooks who can't be trusted with a soup spoon. I really wish these media people would take a knee and let the truth sift to the surface. I know that won't happen as sensationalism sells but it still frustrates me nonetheless.

It looks like Steve and the guys at Craft International - which was founded by Chris - got together and put out a press release.
