Not sure Anyone pays attention to this build anymore because not overland, but its a good place for me to keep track of stuff.

Last season we added some tubes for better seat mounts and add a kinda crossmember at the same time.
Also finally Lizard skinned the interior and covered it with Eastwood X-Matt Dense Matt.

For years I have been working on trying to get transmissions to survive more than a season. I also decided to try another set of lighter less aggressive tires I had to see if it would help. Shaved almost 7 lb per tire both same size 295/70-17

    Toyo MT 67.2 lb

    Copper ST Maxx 60.4 lb

I'm glad you keep this updated. We need less over landing builds.

Awesome build! Just came across this but glad I did. Always awesome to see caged "go fast" Tacomas.

Thanks guys. I have actually hauled dirt bikes in the back of my truck, even a quad. Just not the most fun getting it up there. Wouldn't want to do it on a regular basis lol.

Hate speak I’ll about anyone who owns a tacoma, but amen. Overland builds are a consumerist hobby. Dare I mention that the majority have the same equipment and never seem to see more than a nicely graded fire road.

Thanks. I have my share of project vehicles. I figure they will end up on one of them.

I am a firm believer that we should all build what we want and how we want it. So I'm not really a hater, just like to poke fun at mallcrawlers Opps I mean overlanders. Its all geared towards a buddy that actually uses his overland rig. lol. All in good fun but i dont really understand it like 22 inch rims on an offroad truck.

Just stumbled across this build. This is such a sick rig man!! As someone else said, totally digging the... more racecar than overland builds haha!!
