Solid body mounts are finished and ready to go on the truck. If people are interested they will make these to sell.

Have to drop the tank to get some of the welds so may also do a cell while we are at it.

That was originally the idea. There will also be a door bar and more bars around the walls. We will just see how much time is left when this portion is done and we may just keep going.

    Thanks guys.

I need alittle help. I am trying to work on a layout for the front section of cage but a few things need to be moved. I may pull the airbags and make the pass side into a gauge panel, but I not a huge fan of them being that far away.

I need room for at least two gauges, anyone seen anything on other Tacoma or have any better ideas?

    Pull the airbags.
Being caged they will do more harm than good. Well...let me qualify that. I'm assuming you are putting in suspension seats and harnesses now right? If so, then pull the airbags!

Are you running an a-pillar tube? Autometer sells a full line of tube mounts for all different size gauges:
    http://www.autometer.com/cat_mounts.aspx?sid=50&mid=21

Alternatively you could do something like this behind the steering wheel.

My airbags are non functional just never pulled them, I always worried about them blowing when wheeling. Planning on doing seats once we do the A pillar just have to figure few things out.

The tube pods are about only thing Ive seen but not sold on them. I kinda like the gauges behind the wheel. Maybe tuck them tight in the corners. I'll have to lay that out and see what it looks like.

    Thanks for the idea.

I like this idea also but not sure if I can get a handle of rum in there. I would have to think it would be the most popular mod by far.

Thinking I will just stick with the stock seats for now, at least till we build my wife up a dune truck. Dont really feel like putting racing seats on sliders, or maybe I just just trade the wife for one that isn't 5'3".

How did your fabricator 360 weld everything with the c pillar tubes coming strait down on the frame?

All the tubes go through a plate then through the floor. The cage was tilted forward and lowered to be able to get all the way around the tubes. Then its was raised and the plates welded into into place. He had a problem tilting it enough with the top tubes going out of the cab and had to cut them off and get creative.
