    @christian06 yep, that’s what I ended up doing. Still couldn’t get it out and stripped the screw. Next step was drilling and an extractor, and that still didn’t work. I ended up calling my neighbor who is a welder, and had him weld a nut on top so I could get it out. That finally did the trick. I also ran into the issue of a heavy bead of weather striping of some kind that I had to take down. I’m glad I got it on. Now I can rest easier when my car is parked.     Anyone know where I can get a t45 tamper resistant bit that will actually fit the tailgate anti theft devices that Christian06 sells here on this forum? I bought one but cant find a bit that will actually fit it in case I ever need to remove it.

    I ordered one on Amazon and made sure it was the tamper resistant t45, when I received it was definitely the tamper resistant t45, but incredibly it wouldn't fit. Apparently there can be some minor differences in the shape or thickness that prevents it from fitting even though it is a tamper resistant t45. Does anyone know the EXACT one from amazon that will actually fit it?

    Look at post 9 on the front page (or a dozen other areas in the thread)

    Dudes legit. Send him money, send him an email (or just leave it as a note) and don't hear back for a week or two until one day you'll get a tracking number sent to you.

    Tell him what you want, and pay him, you should have it at your door within a month.
