    May need a new set. One side of my bed super dim. Pulled the one bulb and the little metal connection was completely rusted away. Guess this damn salt is hard on the lights too. :(

    I tie wired the tree trunk in two places to the corners of my roof and two places back to the tie down racks. I've cruised to barstow a couple times doing 85 and the worst thing I've had was the angel get half ripped off. a little duct tape & it's all good hahaha

    Everything is zip tied to the branches as well.

    I'm shocked at how well the 20$ tree holds up from home depot. I keep it watered & it hasnt really lost any needles or started sagging!

    If you do, make sure you tie wire tight to the highest point you can on the trunk tied forward and a little lower tied back toward tailgate. And the biggest stand you can find for stability.

    I get lots of thumbs up spreading the Christmas spirit
    I'm sure you'll find pics of it all over the Internet somewhere people keep taking pics of it

    So looks like you just tied the wire from the middle of the tree trunk to the bed cleats?

    No to the tie down rails in the rear then to the roof rack forward.
    If you don't have a roof rack, you should be safe tying to those silver hoops in the corners by the cab & the tie down rails to the rear.
    A 4 foot tree is all you'll need, and get LED lights not incandescents for more than 2 strands- you'll overload your amperage limit while driving (stupid the inverter is limited while driving but 400 watts while parked)
    But there ya go
