Christmas lights

Any cop that claims someone with a string of Christmas lights on their vehicle is impersonating a police officer is a tyrant with a clear distane for the public.

 

Was headed home late from work and he pulled me over and immediately went into intimidation mode, deep voice and all. I just answered "no sir" when he asked why I was pulled over, I knew. He claimed the only reason he let me off was because he knew who my uncle was, he was EMS in the same county. Said I could've been mistaken as emergency vehicle, ha. Regardless, I kept them the rest of the season and have not had an issue since, that was 6 or 7 years ago. Bah-humbug lol

 

you are breaking the law driving 6 MPH over limit I bet you have done that. 32 years on the job never heard of a ticket issued for Christmas lights nor should it ever be issued. Can’t understand why in the world you care about Christmas lights on the bed or top of a Tacoma . Well I can think of a reason you have a problem with it but I won’t post it

 

Have run these for about 3-4 years. Also have a Purple/Green/Gold set for Carnival Season

 

I picked up 2 cheap sets of LED lights from Fred Meyer and am running them through the bed outlet. I think each strand are the 16 ft, so 32 ft ended up being perfect. So far I've passed probably 6 different law enforcement officers of various jurisdiction with no issue. I purposely did not wrap them around my wind fairing on the roof rack just in case this could be considered "impersonating an emergency vehicle".

 

A little twist. Purple/Green & Gold for Mardi Gras season.
