    This breaks my heart...

    This house was purchased brand new by a Vietnam veteran and his wife in 1977, and has been a staple of my area during the holidays for at least forty years; I should have known something was up when they didn't start setting up the decorations right after Thanksgiving. @Stitchgirl90 and I were headed back to my house when I saw the sign in the second picture and stopped to read it...

    Whelp, I shot my mouth off that I'd rather cook than eat at a crowded restaurant and maybe get to visit with the four people immediately adjacent to wherever I'm sitting. Therefore I got elected to hosting the parents and sibs... in my purposefully antisocial, purposefully small house.

    Shoot. Time to scrunch furniture to break out the folding 6-top table. Family gets a choice between that, my breakfast table, or they can hang on the big sectional and TV dinner it.:anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:

    But at least there are spaces to mingle and socialize. That's probably why everyone loves the overcrowded little house. Because when it gets ass-to-elbow, at least you can say that you got to visit with everyone. :bananadead:
