    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
Around 4 months or so ago I was on the couch and heard a big CRASH from the dining room. Went to look, apparently the cats decided I had my wine glass collection for too long and it was their job to rectify that.

Cleaned up the glass and went back on the couch. Heard another CRASH. Figured there was nothing left over there valuable so I stayed on the couch.

Little while later went to the kitchen. The last CRASH was one of them pushing the screen out of the dining room window. One of the cats was sitting in the back yard looking at me. Went out and chased her around the house about a dozen times until she went back in the screen-less window.

Didn't notice another cat had gone out too until later that night.

We haven't seen him since, four months or so now.

Sunday night my daughter said "I wish Eddie (missing cat) would come home, that's what I want for Christmas".

Eddie showed up at our door last night. He's sitting next to me now purring. In good shape (but stinks).

I'm thinking of having my kid wish for something sweet but not sure what yet!

This is gonna freak me right the frig out. I broke up with a girl friend just about exactly a year ago, she gave me a autographed Gene Simmons picture for Christmas before we split.

It's hanging in the living room. Angela pointed it out a few days ago and said "remember Miss Michelle gave you that? I sure miss her".

We JUST got back from Publix...guess who we saw there? Yup, Michelle! I thought she moved to Texas months ago!

I'm going outside and looking for UFOs now!

I think it's gonna work like that kid in Liar Liar. She's gotta really WANT what she wishes.

Going to test that theory though. Got some thinkin' to do tonight!

LOL back in the days when we had a slew of cats we had your Frankie, Abbie, Ralphie, Teddy, Eddie, and Vinnie.

We went with the mafia scheme. You could hear them plotting to overthrow each other....(Godfather voice) "Yo Vinnie what say you and Frankie take Teddy and Eddie out to the kitchen and put one behind the ear of Abbie? We'll be pinnin da hit on Ralpie"

That's too cool! All mine have people names as well, but no overall scheme to it. Norman got named after a cartoon character in a show called Mighty Max (long gone), Geoffery after Chaucer the author, George from a commercial, Connar just because I liked it (although I could say from Highlander I guess!), and my Eddie from Edmund Blackadder, a British tv show.

Well, actually, we didn't PLAN on going with the mafia scheme.

Frankie was just Frank. Frank got his name because when we got him, I had a Jessie (Jessie fought with a car and lost). According to my grandmother we have James gang blood in us from her side...so Frank and Jessie...

Abbie was named because we thought she was abyssinian (turns out she's not).

Ralpie is just Ralph. Got his name because he threw up in the car on the way home.

Teddy and Eddie..we got them too young to tell what sex they were. Thought since they didn't have "boy parts" they were females. Named them Thelma and Louise. Vet said "um, Thelma and Louise are boys". So Thelma became Theodore. Eddie got his name from "Fast Eddie". Think it's from one of the kids' cartoons, forget which kid but one of them suggested it.

Now Vinnie...Vincent Vega from pulp Fiction.
