I'm thinking of sanding and painting over my chrome on the grill. I'm just wondering though, how durable it is over time. Those of you who've painted over your chrome, how's it working out? Does it scratch easily?

it seems pretty solid on mine .. i prepped it fairly well and it seems to be holding at about a year, minus a few rock chips

I painted my chrome grill about 6 months back and its still holding up good. I'd suggest doing plenty of coats of clear though because there are a few chips but thats my fault. Just make sure you said the chrome real good so the primer can grab the grill.
