My chrome grill thingy was a gift from FloridaTaco. He lives about 4 miles from me and he had bought one for himself. It had a crack in it but didn't effect the functionality. He told the company it had a crack so they sent him a new one and he gave me the old one.

Oh that's right, you're one of them Tebow Supporters, huh?

I started out with the black painted bumper. I roughed it up with a Scotch 3M pad and ended up wet sanding with 320. I then applied 2 coats of Herculiner. It's really grippy and looks rugged.

I dont think I am going to use the bedliner/herculiner stuff on my bumper. I am going to use the Rustoleum Hammered Black on it, which is what I am using on the wheels.

I'm sure the key to painting that bumper and the wheels is roughing up the surface enough for the primer to stick.

    Nothing at the moment
I used the same paint on my Dakota bumper when it started to rust away this summer. The dealership asked me if I bought a new bumper or if it was original because they had never seen one in such good condition when I traded it in for my Tacoma. :D Little did they really know!
