When you have quicksand painted fender flares, imo, chrome wheels would look good with the chrome rear bumper and chrome accent around the grill. I still can't fully get use to the black wheels, but then again having black fender flares on a tacoma make the truck look unfinished to.

In my opinion, they don't look bad; just out of place. There's no chrome front bumper to balance it out.

At first I wondered why I didn’t have them. Then I realized that if you have BSM (blind spot monitoring) as I do, they are body color. Perhaps reflections cause a problem.

I like a bit of chrome also. I think with a bit of chrome trim on what is mostly black ... The chrome does makes it 'pop' more. For me.... Solid everything nothing but black is just very boring.

Instead of the chrome exhaust tip, I added a polished stainless steel hitch plug. Really ties in the chrome number ends.

Ive got the same truck, just a '13. Just purchased used last month. At first I really wanted to swap the Limited wheels out, but then I started detailing the car and the chrome started growing on me. It looks so good against freshly waxed black paint. I did remove the chrome nerf bars though. I think that made the truck look taller and brought more attention to the wheels.

Dude, this is awesome. My paint, or chrome, hasn't looked that good in years!!!! Keepin' it clean.... Love it! My nerf bars will be coming off soon if the trail doesn't take them off for me before I get to it....

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it and how many miles? Help give me an idea of what mine is really worth...

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I struggle with the chrome bumper, Tacoma and V6 details on my silver '21 OR. Part of me wants to get black bumper covers and black out the other badges.

But another part of me says that the chrome doesn't look that bad on silver. It doesn't really stand out as much as it would on a darker color like black or army green.

Ultimately, I'll probably just leave the chrome as-is.

Added the 2021 taillights that @wolf2600 sold me.

It brings similar chrome from the headlights into the tails. Brings balance.

Super easy install, btw. 3 mins max.

before and after- and a bonus of the stock headlights

    Has anyone
Thanks, I got it from a dealership a month ago in WV. Its in outstanding condition inside, out and underneath which is impressive for a car from West Virginia. Honestly its nicer than I was looking for. Its got 75K miles and tow package as well. I paid $23K. KBB with all features selected sets private party fair value at $23-27K. So I think it was a decent deal.
