Or, you could find a nice mix of black and chrome on the same rim. I've seen some that look pretty hot

I like the pro comps in the post above, or something with a mix of black & chrome. Most plain solid black wheels are to hard too see.

I voted chrome since there wasn't a "none of the above" option. I think the black wheel look is pretty much played out at this point. Just look around these forums, damn near everybody here went with black rims. Same goes if you look at the wheels most sport compact drivers buy (myself included.) Do something different, not necessarily chrome, but there are plenty of other wheel colors that would look great, depending on the color of your truck.

If you have a black, white, or blue truck, go for bronze. Bronze wheels on cars/trucks of that color are beautiful.

It doesn't seem like there are many other options besides black or chrome, or machined and black.
My truck is actually SWB which I bought because I loved the color of my 04 WRB WRX so much. I had both gunmetal and then gold on it and they complemented the color perfectly. With this build I thought I'd go a different route via chrome or black. However, it appears that chrome looks best on domestic trucks and not necessarily on ours, and black does seem to be the norm. Brings me to a new dilemma: Gloss black or Matte?

Depends on the wheel. Take a look at my pics.(the little camera on the left. If you havnt figured that out yet). Mine are Matte Black. Are gonna black out the rest of the truck? I like those XD Ambush you pointed out earlier. Would be a great choice!

Yea your rig is sweet man. I also looked at those Addicts, like the spoke design with chrome rivets/detail. Don't think I'm gonna black out everything but I do plan to paint match the chrome grill and do a Satoshi. The Ambush are 2 months out of stock so I'm leaning towards HOSSs'.

True, chrome is classic. Your's is a perfect example especially black and chrome, never goes out of style. In my opinion these trucks lend themselves to a bit more of a modern feel and black seems sportier. However, I have seen some pretty sweet chromed out trucks here on the forums.

def. depends on the color of your truck and how much money you are going to spend on the new set of rims
