chrome removal

    vent shades, tinted windows, clear bra, pop n lock tail gate lock, anytime fog light mod.
    its not real chrome on the front grille but I have heard of folks sanding it down and painting it. I bought a grille from partsgeek.com for about $30 and painted that. if you mess up you still have your stock grille to fall back on.

    With a lot of prep, paint is fine.

    Lacquer, Sand, sand again, sand more, drink beer, sand, prime, paint.

    I painted my chrome grill on my Grand Cherokee, didn't prime, but I did spend about 4 hours sanding it down. It held up for a couple months then started to peel. If you do it, make sure you clear coat it
