Chronic battery drain-Help!

    I did not catch this thread when it was first posted, but I'll share some insight here. My truck has a slow drain. After sitting two weeks, it cranks slowly and starts. After sitting three weeks, it's dead. It won't even crank. I came across a video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UkBD_BrpRk

    I poked around under the dash and found this.

    I haven't pulled this out yet, but I suspect it would solve my problem. So maybe this reply could help someone in the future. My Mechanic friend working on solving a slow drain in a customer's Audi, discovered a similar device which was leading to the drain in that Customer's car.
