Really appreciate that by the way!!

It's nice to see that toyota is finally making actually useful parts that people actually want. That TRD skid looks pretty beefy!

I'm going up to Kapuskasing. On my way back on the 24th I will be taking the faster route of cutting thru T.O. then head up to Ottawa. will be coming down from Barrie thru Toronto then up to Ottawa so I will not be near Mississauga. 400 to 401

So this was a fun and exciting season for a wheeling! Currently at 27,000KMs (16.7K Miles).

Here some short reviews about the gear/products I used

    Truck

Milage is great, I get 9.5-10L (around 24MPG) with 1" lift and 32" tires on a highway, and around 11.5L (20.5MPG) in the city.
    IMG_0435.jpg

Interior is awesome compared to my 05 and 15 Tacoma, BUT not as durable, easier to scratch plastic. Access cab provides enough space for 3 adults (we all around 5'8").

TSS works great, adaptive cruise control is awesome to have on the long distance trips that I do.

I am in love with the 6 Speed transmission again after the latest TSB.

Comfortable to sleep in the passenger seat! :D
    IMG_1861.jpg

    TRD Pro Skid

Perfect for light/medium trails and will handle hardcore trails, just going to look ugly after.

Those who want to upgrade from their splash guard should consider getting one of those.

    Nokian Rotiiva AT 265/75/16

Best AT P-rated tires that I had so far, great fuel milage, light, durable and made out of communist rubber! :spy::stirthepot:

I took it to a many different trails, 7 day "expedition" and rock climbs, lowest I aired down was 12 PSI and it was fine, might go even lower next summer.

The only time when I damaged the tire was when I slashed sidewall going way too fast on the trail. Fast speed + bad luck:bikewhoops:, but good tire shop warranty.

Again I would like to remind how light they are, swapping tire on the trail was super easy, compare to my E rated KO2s that are a bitch to put on a driveway and I can't imagine doing that on a trail. (sold them with old truck)

Picture below shows how they flex at 12PSI, great traction in mud, on rocks, during water crossings, good in the winter, love them.
    IMG_0331.jpg

Fox 2.0 + 3 leaf AAL (removed overload)

It's a decent suspension that is level above of the popular option of going with 5100. Fronts are rechargeable, handles great on the road (firm), off road(soft) and off-road at high speeds(firm).
    Nothing bad to say.
    IMG_0266.jpg

    RCI Sliders
    Solid product, nothing to add.

    ORCA cooler

I sold my ARB fridge and went back to a cooler. No more walking from the campfire to a truck in the dark to grab a beer when cooler is right next to you, and I can throw it anywhere unlike the fridge. Ice lasts 6-7 days, and I also add frozen bottles of water inside to extend cool temperature.
    IMG_0554.jpg

    ARB Chairs

Just get them, I use them all the time, in the garage, outdoor, backyard, etc.
I tried plenty chairs, this is the best.

Test fitted new Broverland bed platform, need to clean it up for fancier look. Also with the fab help of @tacoma16 installed "fuck you deer's" lights.

I can fit spares up to 35s under the bed platform, that's where my second spare will be going.

Now I just need to secure bed platform with L brackets, clean it up, put rubber seal in between panels and I am ready to go West :bikewhoops:
