This question is about weight/capacity: How much do I have left?

I have a 2014 DCSB OR. Before I load up any camping gear, the truck weighs about 5600 lbs with a full tank of gas and me in it. I searched around a bit and saw curb weight and gross weight. The figures I have found were all over the map. Does anybody have a chart that lays out how close I am getting to max payload?

Technically you’re already there. I believe max suppose to be 5,500. I’m in the same boat so don’t sweat it.

Weights on door plate. Looks like you upgraded the suspension and tires/wheels and that would be the main issue if stock as rears are too weak and sag and front end will bottom out or flex too much off road or in avoidance maneuvers. Over time overloading eats your rear end and wheel bearings on Tacomas as mine went at 100k towing a heavy trailer. Fronts go too. But that's part of the fun.

@muddog321 Yikes......I checked out my door frame. Yup.......I am right on the line before camping gear.

My tires are 265/75/R16 so not much bigger than stock. I have a Wheeler's Offroad 2" AAL coming in next week so I can fix the sag. Leaf packs are stock with Sumo springs as a bumpstop replacement. I have 5100s all around and OME 2885s up front for the 2" lift. I didn't want to go crazy....just something mild.

It will be interesting to see how long things hold. I didn't really pack on the weight (Roof rack, sliders, armor, winch etc) until 60K and 18 months ago. It has 80K miles on it now.

Yup....part of the fun. Thank you for your help.
