How did you attach the paddle handles on the drawer? Was there a bracket that came with it for it to latch into? Im not too sure on how to go about doin it. Or did you notch out the wood?

I was actually surprised their wasn’t a catch that came with the paddle latch.. I ended up taking a piece of aluminum angle (iron) and trimming the one side down. It was the first thing I could think of and had worked flawlessly since like it was ment for the latch.

Love getting projects out of my head and into the world. Tho not my idea, I fabricated it in my own fashion.. The plan is to have a spare tire mounted chainsaw mount, but can be used to mount just about anything. Was planning on spray painting it but after being happy with the turn out and wanting it to hold up to the elements on the spare tire I’m going to get it powder coated. Ideally wanted to do this out of aluminum but not setup for it yet, this steel mount weighs 5.3lbs

I know it’s Weekend after my trip to Seattle. Feeling it and if things go well I’ll be knocking out a bunch of home stuff to get ready for our transition.

Saw this post in the NE CL Finds and had a question. How is your fridge slide secured? It looks like you welded a giant tab to the front and ran a bed bolt through it. Anything else holding it? Picking up my fridge/slide today (spent yesterday chopping up my platform)

I believe Chux has mounts that bolt to the slide then use two bed bolts to hold it all down. Not sure who makes them. I just welded two pieces of scrap plate to my slide and used two bed bolts to hold it down
