Just log on to pepboiz.com and look at the pictures. That’s the direction he’s going with this build I think

Lift/tires and roof rack are really the only big ticket mods..

LOL, I hate this feeling after being out playing in the Utah desert a few days. So dusty.

It's cuz the dust in that part of Utah is very fine and pale. Blends in on a white truck, but on the black dash:

I'm surprised your download speed dropped from wifi+weboost off to on. I'd be interested to see the delta results next time you go to a more remote location. I guess I expected a bogger boost. Although 2mbps is a 20ish percent increase I guess.

It’s actually a different rating.. Kbps vs Mbps. I had to look it up to understand the acronym but when I first saw it I figured 1Mbps > 11.8Kbps.

    Here’s what I found

Solid tests. One thing I’m not too surprised with is that your speed dropped from straight LTE to weeboost+LTE, since you already had good cell signal.

Just another medium it has to travel though so it’ll slow it down.

I was only comparing the last two which had the same units, but Randy had a good point

Yeah, I'd like to see what those tests run when he's out in the sand.

Ok so decided to go with a BAMF antenna mount to save time on fabbing my own. Turns out I had to fabricate it anyway...

Holes did not line up with the tap hole in the bed wall. I had to redrill holes lower and move the lower part of the bracket to get the holes centered.. IDK if the jig is fucked or this was made to order wrong. Last thing I’ll buy from them.

How long have your trasharoo's lasted? Mine usually last about a year and die from UV exposure at the top seam.

A year is normal. Anymore I remove mine unless I’m on a trip, I don’t randomly pull off the side of the road to make overland content so there’s really no reason to have overland stuff all over the truck at all times so I suspect my current one will last longer

haha I leave it on to hang my bike helmet after rides, and sometimes wet hiking boots. It's convenient when I collect trash when I see it out on said roads :)

Hmm I wonder if they make one out there that'll survive UV rays.
