That's my only holdup on what bumper I want. Don't really want the spare back there all the time

I use the bed a lot for kayaks, bikes, lumber...
Just the ease of getting into the bed and the extra weight for DD.

The stud wouldn't botjer me, that much I figured... I didn't think of the rest.

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
Could always mount the tire upright in the bed. That's how I am doing it in order to keep the bed open for bikes and the like.

Or build a custom bed cage:

Well I don't foresee getting a bumper anytime soon so maybe by then I'll get to see yours in person again and I'll make a decision

You guys would be surprised to see that a your factory bumper with the tow hitch assembly weighs close to a steel bumper. I was shocked when I removed mine how heavy it was! It's not the bumper, the tow package has serious weight. It's funny cuz I never read anything about that, all you hear is how heavy steel bumpers are and people automatically assume that the stock is made out of tin foil. Still as my daily driver I'm super happy with everything. To be honest im still waiting for that moment when I parallel park in between two cars and need to get in the bed  I have already tho parked backed up to a fence and pulled my truck out of the spot to load the bed, wasn't so bad.

Here's a pic of BabyTaco's bumper with the spindle stud on the bumper

I know a guy from Jersey City to handle that :spy:

I had take for days after the dakar and AAL install. Had same super rake for a couple days when I deleted my stock rear. Love the stance of my truck now with the new bumper!

Dude your truck looks so good with that cap!! Overall great looking rig!

I'm not worried about weight. It's just hauling long shit that I would need the tailgate open for that would bother me.

Dude the mega rake and super high clearance is kind growing on me. The bed rail is like chest height

May just need something like this.... but then what do i do with the spare tire.

That's what roof racks are for! Put it on your new PrInSu roof rack

Not a big fan of toob. I think getting extra clearance in the rear is not worth finding a place for the full size spare. But it's always six in one hand half doz in the other...
