Are you familiar with Island Beach State Park? My absolute favorite beach. Ya can drive on all year with a beach buggy permit, and there's good spear fishing at the inlet.

Yea got them in couple weeks ago, install pics on page 3. Right off the bat I had a decent rake (which I don't mind) but it's actually settling now a bit. I really like extra lift I got out of it. The dakars are basically in prep for a steel rear bumper with tire carrier I'll be getting this winter. It might level me out but at least I won't be saggin in the rear.

Great build you got goin
I love overland themed builds, my over all goal is to travel camping and be self sufficient with my truck.

Thanks dude! So just to be clear you did the Dakar leaf pack and also did the AAL to the stock dakar pack correct? Becuae i have a steel rear bumper spare tire carrier and that combined with the bed rack is about the upper limit on the dakars alone. The AAL really isnt that expensive so i will prob do it pretty soon. Also will do the extended brake lines. How tough was it to do the AAL and extended brake lines?

Also thanks for putting the PrInSu Designs racks on my radar. I have been looking for an Access cab rack for some time now. I really want to bring my lights to the front of the cab rather than behind and this would be perfect for this. And you can never hav enough rack space haha. I love the pelican case you have mocked up. Add to the list! Damn you Tacoma world!!!!

Yea Dakars with AAL. Haveing buddy's help with install always makes mods easier. And with the right tools for the job makes it go even smoother. Shout out to nj636 for bringing the brake line wrenches and torque bar. Thanx Homie!

PrinSu racks are sick! And I've been goin back and forth with Zach on ideas and he's great to work with. Never enough rack space lol. I'm keeping the bed cap Thule racks for my surfboards and SUPs, it's also great for kayaks and even had a ladder strapped down last week. The front cab rack will be holding my Pelican box, rotopax gas cans, and also TRED recovery ramps http://www.boss4x4.com/product-p/tjm6-867tred11.htm .The Pelican box idea I actually got from Zach at PrinSu Designs. He's got a real nice build thread.

Finally got around to cutting the switch area out. Advice would be take your time and use a utility knife. The first time I cut out the center two switches I used a dremel and the cut wasn't that straight. With the knife you can shave a little at a time. If you plan to do this note there's an outline groove to follow around the oem switches, I started cutting along that line first. It'll give you a perfect width but you'll have to cut more top and bottom. Also the shape of the dash comes up a little short on the bottom left side of the switch plate but not enough to bother me. I think it looks clean and looking forward to them being wired up! This won't happen till I get my PrinSu roof rack and mount the light bar.

Also since you have now been in there with just the 2 switches and the 4 switch panel, do you think it would be easier to just trim out for each switch (i.e. I need 3 switch holes) or to instal the panel? I think the trim piece is just a tick too big for that area. Looks great though but I haven't cut anything yet and have the 4 panel that I don't have to use nor need the full 4...
