Im considering the cooper st maxx tires for myself. Im looking for something more aggressive, but not a MT.
    How do u like yours?Thoughts?
    Thanks

Love them! Just like you said they are aggressive but not a MT. My truck is daily driven so for me it's the perfect tire, minimal road noise and aggressive tread for off road use. Lots of info in this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-off-your-cooper-st-maxx.346956/

Have you noticed an increase in noise as they wear? Mine were so quiet in the beginning but recently they have gotten pretty noisy. Still even wear but definitely an increase in noise. I have had them on since March or April IIRC.

Haven't checked my alignment for awhile. It could likely be out a little. That being said there is no cupping on the tires or uneven wear. Just extra noise.

Yes I have a lot of miles on mine and have noticed them getting louder through the miles. To be honest it doesn't even grab my attention. Because I drive my truck everyday I like a firmer tire for road use and run them at 40psi. Maybe more psi helps me with the tire noise, I do in fact get a good hum coming off the beach at 20psi on the road.
Alignment is not so good right now. Tried to get one last minute from Toyota and I received it with more rubbing issues than when I brought it in. Yet I still have even wear not cupping whatsoever.

Well no one else makes one (yet) so they don't have to be competitive.

True… But most of their other accessories are really affordable. I guess because this one is so unique to the market. It is such an amazing concept that would be so useful and practical. It is moving up higher and higher on the list because we have been getting rain for the past two weeks solid here in south Louisiana. A lot of wet soggy camping and hunting lately

I agree it is a really cool design and I can see how a lot of people would love it. It is priced high I agree.. But ahh 2 weeks of rain, we get it 5 months straight :p haha just kidding man

The problem with the rain here is that the state is completely flat so it does not drain... We also have zero rock composition in our soil so the earth immediately turns into mud. The good thing though is that the deer were up and moving because of the weather.

Thanx dude! I'm not messing with my alighnment until my new bumper is on. I have spindle gussets and cam tabs in hand, so once the bumper comes in I'm doing a little overhaul on the front end including anti seize cam bolts. Once that's done a good alighnment will be icing on the cake. I'll look back and reference the thread you linked, Thanx.

It can totally be made DIY and be cheaper. May have to make it myself anyway to make it work with my cap basket. I really dig the concept! Makes total sense when I see the still pics of how it works, kinda genius.

No worries bout the thread jack, this build sucks without pics.
