So stoked on that ARB refrigerator deal! Hopefully someday I'll have one too.

    Mee too!

Met up with @2012Taco who made me a copy of his bed mounts the fridge slide goes on, props to him they look great! Last piece to the puzzle is the slide itself, it's coming Monday but I'm leaving for Florida Saturday. When I get back I'll be installing the fridge and giving @Pelfreybilt a call to see when the delievery date will be in January. Really looking forward to the front bumper, few front end mods, and a good alighnment to get away from the concrete jungle.

    Bed mounts, Thanx again!

Just read thru the entire thread (thanks to holiday leave, lol) glad to see there's some awesome Tacomas so close by. I just installed a hybrid CBI Dakar rally front bumper a few weeks ago and would be more than willing to lend a hand to you with the PB front bumper when it comes in and meet some other local Tacoma guys. Keep the thread updated with the upgrades. Great build.

How are the ST Maxx's holding up? Are they making a lot more noise as the miles add up?

Actually was a weird run, I was never in the right place at the right time for big keepers but got into alot of 20"-26" fish on my kayak. Was super fun catching fish after fish but never got dinner. I did catch a 29" and decided to throw it back for a bigger fish but kept catching 20 somethings.. Ocean temps are still warm, and have seen post of keepers still being caught. I'm good till spring, have other hobby obligations :spy:

Hey Dude! First off thank you for your service. Sounds like you have a nice build going as well. I'll definitely keep up the upgrades (it never stops). Not sure whats happening with my bumper install, depend on the arrival date. Where in Central Jersey are you?

Awesome! I just got back home and may get my pass tomorrow

Maxxs have been good, no complaints at all. They don't seem to stay as quiet as when they are brand new but I'm still not humming down the road like an MT. I love the tire itself alot, but will have to make a decision when the tread runs out if I want to stay 255, 285, or 315s.

315s?!?! Looks like a ton of perminant modifications and potential headache..... Re-gear, cab mount shop, pinch weld beating, fender trim, backspacing properly, etc. They do look sick though. What tire would you go with in this size?

Yeah I would get some 285's first so you can do a little work at a time on getting closer to being able to run 35's. At least that's what I'm doing.

That's the way to do it! Cause I'm not going to run 35's until I have regeared anyways

not head ache, just $. CMC is easy, pinch weld beating is easy, fender trim is easy, regear gives you a chance to add lockers (in his case just a front)

Once you have 35's, the truck just looks like it should've come with that size tire IMO...

285's are shorter than 255's, so although 285's are wider, that would be going to a smaller tire..

thats a waste of time. just get the tire size you want from the start. I took my time and all it did was cost me more in the long run and take longer to get where i wanted it. I jumped from 265/65/17 to 265/70/17 to 255, now finally to 315, and even at that i wish i had gotten regular 35's instead of cheating and getting 34.5's.

If you have an idea of what you want your truck to look like, just do it right the first time.

so you want to run 33's while geared for 35's? thats not any better than running 35's while geared for 33's.

This is true but I don't just don't have the $$$ to drop on regear, lockers and tires
