I love my Maxxs, they have been so good to me. I personally have not had any bad experience with them but have heard of a few others that have.. I have explained before that anything mass produced will have a few bad eggs, what you need to look at is the actually design. They are an aggressive AT so they fit my needs perfectly. Not sure how you use your truck, but I would compare the ko2s to the At3s instead of the Maxxs. The Maxxs get compared to the duratracs but blow them out of the water imo. If your definetly interested in the Maxx check out this thread..

Awesome! Yea it's been on my list for a while. Didn't really plan to start it, just happened.

We should meet up when I get back from camping. Haven't had Chegg yet since they opened :boink: @nj636

Been inspired by @2012Taco 's bed drawer so I plan on going a very similar route

Like this -> AlumEscape Expo Build

Def not carpet, I feel that will hold a camp fire/smoke smell.

Shooting for by July 1st. The bones of the house are great but we decided to redo all the floors and paint. We just got floors and paint ordered in the last couple days, camping the next 5, come back to install and move in.

I'm new here, so I'm feeling my way around still, but I got lost in this thread for the first 30 pages and then skipped ahead to the last few. Great rig and I've enjoyed reading through your chronicling of it. I really enjoyed the beach pictures. I grew up going to OCNJ every summer and I've spent at least a weekend there every year since I moved to Texas 10 years ago. Congrats on the house and the impending nuptials.

Sounds like it's going to be a great trip! If you get the chance/time hike the Cadillac Mtn trail, it's absolutely incredible views of the area. We did it years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Yea @JLink was telling me bout Cadillac Mtn. We'll see cuz we have the dingo with us. Thought I remember him saying he left his dog home for that trip cuz some trail climbs are not dog friendly.

Yes, some trails up there are more technical than others. We actually had our pup with us on that camping trip, I remember having to carry her up a little ladder embedded in the rock on one section, and pass her along to my wife on a couple of other parts. Over all wasn't bad, the pup was maybe 6mo at the time. We dubbed her MTN Dog, from that point on because of how she poses on rocks whenever we encounter them on our hikes. :D
