I have the standard cig lighter mounted next to the ash tray. I also have 2 EXTRA cig lighter below that. They both stopped working while the main cig lighter next to the ash tray is working. All fuses in the dash fuse box look ok.

Any ideas? maybe a separate fuse inside the dash???

    Thanks,

    Frank

Did you check the fuse in the engine bay or just the ones next to the steering wheel? If I remember right, there's a 15a fuse in the bay that controls those in my 4runner, but I can't remember.

You nailed it! It was a blown 15 amp fuse in the engine compartment. Why one cig lite fuse is in the passenger and the other cig lite fuse is in the engine room is any ones guess. Probably make sense to someone. Thanks! I was probably going to tear into the dash board looking for a short. You saved me a lot of trouble! You have a great week!
